‘What goes around, comes around’

October 23, 2008 · Leave a Comment

You ever heard that phrase before?

I am sure that you have, and I am also almost certain that you would probably agree that it is true as well.

There really is nothing (or at least very, very little) that is genuinely new in life, that you haven’t seen before, and the older you get, the more it happens!

It’s like when I see yet another email land in my inbox, promoting yet another latest ‘secret’ product, or a ‘never-seen-before’ solve all the problems of the world master plan from the latest ‘guru’ (who nobody had ever heard of yesterday).

Sound familiar?

Seen it all before?

Of course you have – you and me both, and, whilst I am not going to insult your intelligence by telling you how ‘sick to death’ I am of it (that tactic has also been played out to the n’th degree); I am going to be totally straight up with you.

Most of the products that I have seen hit the market over the last year or so have been revamped or worked-over copies of stuff that I had seen before, sometimes many more times than once.

Thus, when I get the chance to look at a new product, I do not expect to be impressed.

In fact, I rarely if ever manage to get past the first few pages…if I ever start to suffer from insomnia, I know I have a hard drive packed with stuff sure to help cure the problem!

So, when I got a first chance to look at ‘Traffic 2.0’, it was definitely a question of, ‘okay, here we go, who’s this one copied from?’

And now?

Well, I’ve already told you an awful lot about it in my previous mails, and that in itself should tell you that I rate it pretty highly.

More importantly, I want to tell you exactly why I rate it so highly, and why I have no hesitation in recommending it to you.

First off, it is not a stale rehash of some other junky product.

Note that I did not claim that it is ‘unique’ or ‘brand new’ because I have not seen every other internet marketing product that has ever come out, so how do I know that?

Second, it is not a ‘one idea’ product like 99% seem to be.

‘Traffic 2.0’ pulls together a whole host of traffic generation ideas, tips and systems that, taken together (and that is the key word, together) form a very sensibly balanced approach to traffic creation.

And the third thing (and this is a big bugbear of mine) is that it does not insist on throwing out the baby with the bathwater, like so many products seem so keen to do.

What I mean by this is that, whilst everyone is running around like a headless chicken, spouting about this Web 2.0 tactic or that Web 2.0 idea, they seem to have forgotten that a lot of Web 1.0 ideas and traffic generation tactics worked pretty well too!

And, guess what?
They still work just as well now as they did when computers were still steam driven!

This ‘Traffic 2.0’ system manual doesn’t forget this either, and even includes a section that shows that, whilst, sure almost everything you read is about Web 2.0 nowadays, you shouldn’t discard something that still works just because it’s old!

So, my view of ‘Traffic 2.0’?

It’s a very well thought out and sensibly balanced system for driving large numbers (notice that it is not always necessary to use words like ‘massive’ or ‘huge’?) of new visitors to your site or blog at minimal cost or for no cost at all.

I like it, and am starting to use it.

I am sure that you would do too, and for that reason it gets a big ‘no hype’ thumbs up!

Unless you have been living at…

October 19, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Unless you have been living at one of the poles this last year, or in a cave in some deep, dark, forest then I guess that it’s no secret.

Social Networking sites have seen an explosion of popularity over the last year.

Again, as I said before, there is nothing new about networking as a means of getting your business to grow.

This is exactly why people all over the world will join the local Chamber of Commerce and other similar organizations. They get a chance to meet other local businessmen (and women), to talk about their respective businesses and see if there is any common ground between them.

But the fact that the practice is now becoming so popular on the Web is really exciting.

It represents a significant shift in the way that net users think, and also represents a gradual change in the way people are going to be finding what they are looking for in the years ahead.

When is the last time you searched for something using one of the major search engines and ended up extremely frustrated with all of the totally nonsensical results?

Err, probably the lat time you tried using a major search engine, right?

But with social bookmarking sites, a user can search a topic and find results based on how many other members found a particular website helpful.

So instead of relying on faulty software algorithms to return search results, what we are now seeing is results based on real, warm blooded human beings.

Plus, most social networking sites are so easy to use and understand, even for people who are not particularly web savvy.

Anyone can join one of the big networks like MySpace and set up a profile in a matter of moments.

For this reason the number of people who use sites like MySpace is only ever going to increase.

And all of these people are effectively a captive market for you and your products, as long as you know what you are trying to do and exactly how to do it.

That’s why the value of an invaluable marketing resource as ‘Traffic 2.0’ is only ever going to increase over the coming months and years too.

Because it shows you exactly what you need to do to get these people to do business with you, and exactly what you must do to make it happen, once you have ‘Traffic 2.0’, you will literally wonder how you ever got by without it!

See, as more and more people become familiar with the concept of social network marketing, the number of people you can market to through these systems will obviously grow.

And that means that whatever it is that you are selling, in whatever niche of the marketing world you operate, there will always be a growing market for your products and services.

And, here’s another thing about social networking sites.

They all give people that sign up an opportunity of creating their own profile. That means that you can find out lots of information about a potential customer before you ever even contact them!

Can you begin to imagine just how powerful that could be?

You can decide if somebody looks like a good fit for the kind of information or products you are selling before you even attempt to contact them, so, when you invite them to be on your friends list, you already know that they should like what they see in your profile too!

Are you beginning to see the true business power of social networking sites?

Success on a site like MySpace could literally set you up for life.

Okay, so that’s the good news – there is a massive untapped opportunity out there.

Now for the bad. You’re not the first person to recognize this fantastic opportunity, and many thousands have tried before you to make it big on MySpace and other networking sites like YouTube.

Most of these folks failed, abjectly and miserably.

Why?

Because they did almost everything that they could do wrong – well, wrong!

Like everything in life, there is a right way and a wrong way.

Like everything in life, to have the greatest chance of success – success that could be measured in thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars – you need the guidebook to show you the way.

‘Traffic 2.0’ is the only guidebook that you will ever need.

Let me ask you a question.

October 16, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Do you think that it is easier to try to make someone do something (anything, it doesn’t really matter what ‘it’ is) or do you think that asking them politely whether they would like to do it would be more effective?

Now, I’m hoping that you agree with me that a nice, polite suggestion or request sounds so much better to most people’s ears than a command or instruction.

Why am I hoping that?

Because ‘asking people’ in the correct manner is exactly what ‘Traffic 2.0’ is all about!

It’s all about where the internet is going right now, that is, away from big corporate websites that shout ‘LOOK AT US!! We’re far bigger and more important than you will EVER be’ at you.

It’s about millions and millions of sites that don’t need to shout, that just quietly say, ‘Hey, I’m just like you, why not come take a peek at what I’m doing?’

‘Traffic 2.0’ is all about knowing the best ways and the best places to start networking, meeting and chatting with others who think like you, or have the same interests that you do.

It’s called social networking, and ‘Traffic 2.0’ shows you every single step that you need to take to leverage the power of such social networking for maximum profits.

Now, of course, there is really nothing new about social networking – it’s something many of us do every day offline, especially in schools or in the workplace.

But as a marketing trend this concept is growing more and more popular online, and you can bet your bottom dollar that you do not want to miss out, because if you do, you can be certain that your competitors won’t.

Unlike most high schools, colleges, or workplaces, the internet is filled with millions of individuals who are looking to meet other online users to develop both personal and business relationships.

Now, the bottom line for anyone that runs any kind of online business is that you will not stay in business long if you don’t bring people to your website.

So, doesn’t it just make perfect sense that the best way of doing that would be to simply ask folks that you know will be interested in what you say, to visit?

See, there are hundreds of places on the internet where people just like you are already networking away like crazy, asking every Tom, Dick and Harry to visit their site.

Sound idea, but, in the majority of cases, it’s being put into practice very, very badly indeed.

I can tell you for a sad fact that most of those folks will never succeed, NOT because they have got the wrong idea – they have in fact, got the idea spot on correct – but they are just putting the whole thing into practice in completely the wrong way!

See (and without giving away all of my ‘secrets’) the idea of networking, of being a part of an online community is remarkably simple.

The idea of networking is to meet new people who fit into one of two categories (and this really is a BIG secret!):

People who have something you need.
People who need something you have.

Now, there’s a lot more to it than this, of course, otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered creating the ‘Traffic 2.0’ manual in the first place, would I?

But the above two categories basically sum up the entire purpose of using the ‘Traffic 2.0’ system to ensure that all of your networking efforts bring you maximum returns in terms of cash in the bank!

Whatever your goals are, the two most important things are that you start to get involved, and (more importantly) that you do it right.

It’s a game that you must start playing right now, but, before you do, you must know exactly what it is that you need to do to win.

‘Traffic 2.0’ is the definitive rule book for the social networking game. Play without knowing the rules, and there’s very little chance you can ever come out on top, is there?

Until next time………..
