So far when waxing lyrical about the terrific new ‘Traffic 2.0’ book, I’ve been focusing pretty much exclusively on how the ‘Traffic 2.0’ manual teaches you exactly how to make the most of social networking opportunities.
But, today I want to change the angle a little, to introduce some of the other traffic generation tactics that are analyzed and then explained in ‘Traffic 2.0’.
Maybe you have become aware over the past year or two of a new ‘kind’ of internet that we are all supposed to be enjoying, something called ‘Web 2.0’?
Well, one of the most interesting things about this Web 2.0 thing is that, even after it was (allegedly) invented three years ago, still no-one really seems that sure what it actually is!
In fact, most people – and I admit that I am as guilty as anyone on this charge – find it easier to define Web 2.0 by telling you what it is not, rather than what it is, or at the very least, what it might be!
But, everywhere you look on the net at the moment, there is this ‘Web 2.0’ site springing up, and that ‘Web 2.0’ directory, or portal site, or whatever it is.
And yet, still, no-one can actually define what Web 2.0 is!
So, now, I bet that you are expecting me to tell you that your worries are over, because ‘Traffic 2.0’ is going to explain exactly what Web 2.0 is, aren’t you?
Well, I’m not going to.
Because it doesn’t explain it!
After all, who actually cares what Web 2.0 is? It really does not matter one jot what it is, or even if it really exists!
What ‘Traffic 2.0’ does do, though, is look at lots of sites and marketing ideas that the experts tell us are ‘Web 2.0’ resources and explains in ‘chapter and verse’ detail exactly how you can make the best use of them, in order to drive maximum amounts of traffic to your site.
It looks at the leading video upload sites like YouTube, Google Video and Yahoo Video, for example, and tells you the things that you must do in order to make the most of these terrific free promotional resources.
And, just in case you don’t really know too much about these sites and why it is important that you know how to make the most of them, let me give you a snapshot of the way that it could go for you, assuming that you do things correctly.
You make a little three minute video and upload it to YouTube.
Do the job properly, then you can seriously and realistically have between half a million and a million people look at that video within a year of you posting it!
Do the job incorrectly, however, and its just going to be you, your Mum and your Gran who view it, which might be tremendous for your family relationships, but it’s going to make the square root of diddly-squat for your business!
And the difference between the two extremes?
About fifteen minutes of your life, and knowing exactly what you are doing!
Now, you can learn to do the job properly the hard way, through trial and error.
But, why bother re-inventing the wheel when someone has already done all of the hard work for you, and detailed it all, step-by-baby-step, in ‘Traffic 2.0’?
You can short circuit the whole process of ‘Web 2.0’ marketing by getting your hands on the only handbook that you are ever likely to need, ‘Traffic 2.0’, right now.
So, you choose.
An extra few thousand dollars in your bank account, or a big slobbery wet kiss from your favorite Gran……..
